It has been a while since I've updated this site and, um, well no one comes to it anyway so who the hell cares? But, seeing
as how I'm somewhat bored today I thought I'd add some pictures and things I'd written and other cool junk so when someone
actually does come to the site (our one visitee per year), there will be something to see. Below are some pictures of me from
the SPACE comic convention in Columbus, where I set up a Flame Broiled booth and made the grand total of under ten bucks.
Most of these pictures were taken by my father. With me is my cousin Max, assistant Flame Broiled seller for the day with
Nick in Japan. Given by the way he was constantly covering his head, one can guess he was feeling a bit camera shy.

The darn-dest thing happened the other day. There I was, surfing the internet, and I ran into this website, and what do
you know, it's got my friggin' name on it and everything! So I'm sitting there thinking, what the hell's going on? And then
I start to get faint memories of maybe making this thing like a year ago late at night sometime. And what do you know, I sign
onto tripod and the thing recognizes me as the owner and proprietor of medusa_comics.tripod.com. So I got to thinking, how
many other websites have I made late at night and forgotten about? Gosh darn it, I bet the internet's full of them things!
Half begun, never finished, swimming in a sea of wonderful websites that I never got around to finish! The prospect exited
me. I was sure I'd done some really cool flash things at some point, with all sorts of great graphics and sound effects and
what not! Wow, I thought. Me, a master web designer! How cool is that? So I feverishly searched the internet for my name left
and right and up and down and on every search engine I could find! But alas, I met with dissapointment. No, I found out, the
only website I'd made and abandoned was this piece of crap. Oh well.
11/22/03 - It has been a long time since I've written (but since Nick is the only one who reads this thing, I doubt it really
matters). Anyway, on the off chance someone other than Nick is reading this, I'll take this opportunity to announce that Medusa
Comics will be attending this year's SPACE mini-comic and self publisher's expo in Columbus, Ohio. This year, we will actually
have a table! Amazing! Unfortuneatly, Nick decided to pick this particular week to go to Japan on a trip he's been planning
for weeks, so that means the SPACE crowd will have to make do with simply me, the lowly writer, present. I promise to try
to be interesting and engaging. Comics will be on sale for an as yet undecided price, and we'll do trades, and probably give
a lot of comics away too. So don't be shy! If you're anywhere near the Columbus area come on out for a day of fun. I'll sign
anything and even forge Nick's signature for anyone who wants it. Check out the link below.
Note - If all goes well, I'll hopefully have some copies of the RED poster we did with Harvey Pekar, if not for sale at
least on display. Issues I'll bring will be #'s 3-6 and whatever else we can finish by then (most certaintly #7, very likely
#8, and possibly #9). I may bring a few #1 and #2's, but I'll be very reluctant to give them out.
SPACE info
9/27/03 - We printed Flame Broiled #6 today finally! Anyone in the Cleveland area should stop by Mac's Backs on Coventry
sometime within in the next few days because we're planning on bringing them over there this weekend. The new issue starts
a trilogy about the search for the goriest film ever. It should prove to be quite smashing. E-mail us to order it! We'll include
more info. and a cover picture soon on the catalog page.
9/15/03 - I shared my writing piece today in playwriting today and people seemed to like it. I might post it eventually, but
I think it's better read aloud than read. Like, on a screen.
Anyway, Nick's working very hard on Flame Broiled #6 and we're hoping iy will be available soon. We're also very
excited about this poster were doing for Harvey Pekar and that should be done soon as well. Pretty exciting!
That's about all for now.
9/7/03 - I wrote a play for my playwriting class but it isn't very good. I'm going to try to write a better one. I also just
saw The Battle of Shaker Heights, which I'm supposed to review for Shaker Magazine since they want to film from the perspective
of a Shaker Heights High School student who is interested in film. I'll post the review here when it's done. I'm thinking
about putting some writing pieces up on the website, but I'm not sure if anyone will actually take the time to read them.
Is anyone reading this?
8/28/03 - I signed up for a playwriting class which I'm fairly nervous about. Today, we talked about various aspects of playwriting
and the significence of the theatre (pretentious European spelling intentional). Don't you hate it when things are spelled
in Euro fashion to look more fancy? It's like my local shopping center, Shaker Towne Centre. How lame can you get? Spell the
freakin' words right, Goddamit.
8/27/03 - School started today. Unfortunately, this means that large amounts of my time will be taken up by reading and taking
notes on various subjects of far less importance than this mini-comic. But I am giving YOU, the wonderful people who visit
this site, a chance to relieve me of the pain and suffering I receive every day at school by sending me lots of E-mails concerning
how much you love the website and comics. We are still waiting for that initial E-mail response which, once we are provided
with an address or P.O. Box, will entitle you to absolutely 100% free comics, no stipulations. Make my day a little brighter,
and get some free comics to boot.
